Darwin Deez

so my dad has been playing guitar and piano and writing songs since always.  not professionally ever, but he taught me my first guitar chords.  he had some tunes that were known among the Baba community from as far back as the 1970s.  and he never recorded any of them until now.  over the past few years he made this record, cutting the basic stuff at a studio in NC (rhythm guitar/piano, lead vocals, cello).  my aunt and uncle did a lot of additional production and i did a little bit, too.  all the songs are about Meher Baba.  you can check it out if you’re curious.  my favorites are the time-ripened 70s piano-based gems, “he is the king” (which you can hear my ‘oohs’ on) and “streets of heaven.”  happy birthday, dad!  (and greg!)
